Mind & Body

Where therapy and yoga come together to support meaningful, embodied change.

This offering is for those who want to explore personal growth and healing by connecting mind and body. It blends the insight of psychotherapy with the wisdom of yoga, using conversation, breath, movement, and body awareness to support emotional clarity, nervous system regulation, and self-connection.

Rooted in the principles of yoga therapy, this work draws on evidence-based techniques to support the whole person, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Research shows that yoga therapy can reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve emotional regulation, and help build resilience through nervous system balance, interoceptive awareness, and a deepened sense of presence.

How It Works

Each session begins with therapeutic conversation to explore what is present, thoughts, emotions, patterns, or physical sensations. This dialogue then gently informs the movement-based part of the session.

We may work with:

  • Breathwork to calm or energize the nervous system

  • Gentle movement to release tension and build strength

  • Stillness or guided awareness to support grounding and insight

  • Verbal reflection to integrate body and mind

Rather than offering yoga as a separate practice, this is a therapeutic integration, where movement and stillness become part of your inner exploration, not separate from it. This approach is gentle, attuned, and always tailored to your experience and needs.
